Nano-Photonics
Nano-photonics is a fast-growing area of both scientific significance and practical value for applications. It studies the interaction between light and electronic systems in nanomaterials and nanostructures and also investigates the behavior of light in nanometer scales. Nano-photonics is an interdisciplinary field related to optics, electronics, nanomaterials, as well as nanostructures. Increasing attention is given to this area, and Nano-Photonics is expected to have a significant impact on future technology advances. In this lab, we focus on nanomaterials and their synthesis. Our researchers mainly concentrate on:
• Nanoparticles and nanoparticulate composite materials
• Quantum dots and other low-dimensional nanostructures
• Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs)
