Amirhossein Derakhshan Nia
He earned his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Chemical–Biomedical Engineering at the same university. His research focuses on smart and stimuli‑responsive drug delivery systems, particularly photonics‑based biomedical technologies. He is currently conducting his research at the Nanobiophotonics Laboratory, where he is developing a light‑responsive microneedle platform for controlled insulin release using liquid‑crystal elastomer materials. His academic interests include biomaterials, polymer engineering, photonics‑based biomedical technologies, and advanced materials synthesis and characterization.
