Mina Khodami Vayghan

Mina Khodami Vayghan B.Sc. graduate in Microbiology from Islamic Azad University, Tehran (2020), and M.Sc. in Molecular Biotechnology from Malek Ashtar University of Technology, Tehran (2025), with a thesis focused on CRISPR‑Cas12–based detection of Vibrio cholerae. Experienced in crRNA design and a wide range of molecular biology techniques, including PCR, gel electrophoresis, SDS‑PAGE, DNA extraction, and statistical analysis using Minitab. She is currently a PhD candidate in Microbial Biotechnology at Alzahra University, working in collaboration with the Nanobiophotonics Laboratory at the University of Tehran. Her doctoral research focuses on the development of a rapid optical detection kit for bacterial contamination in fruit juice. Since 2024, she has been the co‑founder of an R&D team developing antibacterial cotton yarn using green, environmentally friendly processes. She has prior research experience in the sterilization of Tetra Pak packaging using radiation and plasma as alternatives to hydrogen peroxide (2022). In 2024, she also served as a Product Manager at Mission Meal (Convergent Sciences), contributing to projects in the field of precision food.M.Khoddami@alzahra.ac.ir
